TUFF SHED� is currently looking for a Social Media & Online Marketing Coordinator to serve as "The Voice of Tuff Shed" for our social media initiatives - singing not required!

As the Social Media & Online Marketing Coordinator you will take on a number of copywriting responsibilities in various online mediums and printed marketing collateral; maintain online and yellow page business listings; organize vast photo libraries; manage local search engine keyword campaigns; author articles related to Tuff Shed product offerings and uses; maintain social media messaging for Tuff Shed accounts in Facebook and Twitter; and tackle many more online marketing opportunities.

Current college students, recent graduates, and Pulitzer Prize winners are encouraged to apply. To do so, please submit a short writing sample (similar to a blog post) addressing a potential, possibly out of the ordinary, use for a storage shed along with your well written cover letter, resume and online application. Applications submitted without the required writing sample will not be considered.

This is a full-time position whose responsibility should grow over time as the social media buzz you create grows and you become more familiar with our company. Duties:Maintains the Social Media Messaging for TUFF SHED accounts in Facebook and Twitter with creative and relevant status updates that highlight new and/or interesting online content, promotions, and events.

Participates in popular Home & Garden discussion forums as a subject matter expert on garage and storage related topics offering advice and solutions.

Manages the online reputation of TUFF SHED� by tracking content that mentions the company (reviews, blogs, photo, videos, etc) and responding appropriately to any negative messaging.

Manages local keyword purchasing campaigns in Google Adwords and Microsoft adCenter.

Organizes, tags, shares, and maintains digital photo library of TUFF SHED� product and company images.

Executes regular Email Campaigns to support the TUFF SHED� sales channels and specific marketing initiatives.

Maintains business listing and accounting of existing yellow page (print and online) advertising agreements.

Maintain business listings in the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) and popular social directories (Yelp) to ensure inclusion and accuracy.

Compose various marketing copy (product descriptions, promotional messaging, etc) for use in print collateral (signs, brochures, postcards, etc) and on TUFF SHED web properties.

Writes and distributes press releases related to TUFF SHED� product announcements, store locations, company events, and business activity.


Qualifications:Must have writing prowess that produces effective and interesting communication to the online target audience.

Ability to stay current with social trends � especially those that are web-related.

Ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously.

Must be extremely comfortable using a computer with office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and documented experience using online tools (Google Adwords, Microsoft adCenter, Blogs, Discussion Forums, etc) and social media related web sites (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, YouTube, etc).

Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Minimum education current College Student or College Graduate with a 2 or 4 year degree in Marketing, Journalism, Online media, or Related Discipline.

Must attach a writing sample or if you have a link to your writing sample, you can include it in the application process.
